PC Vicky Hagen goes undercover as a driver for Alison Spencer, the manager of a string of massage parlours in Sun Hill. As Hagen gradually earns Spencer's trust, she becomes privy to more of Alison's schemes. Unfortunately, when she is called upon to take part in these crimes, Hagen must find a way to pull off a jewellery robbery and the murder of another undercover police officer without breaking the law, hurting anyone or giving herself away. CID's plan to arrest Alison's uncle goes awry, but they have enough evidence to arrest Alison, who cannot believe that Hagen was a police officer.
